White Stripes On The Simpsons 2006-01-19 by Dave de Sylvia EMERITUS | 7 Comments | The White Stripes will soon follow a prestigious line of musicians, including the Baha Men, by featuring in Fox's long-running cartoon series 'The Simpsons.'
According to MTV.com, the pair will feature in the imaginatively-titled episode 'Jazzy and the Pussycats,' in which Bart attempts to become a jazz drummer. The young percussionist reportedly acts out a parody of the 'Stripes' video clip 'The Hardest Button To Button' before meeting up with the sibling divorcees. The precise date of the show's airing is not yet known.
The White Stripes will play a series of festival dates next week in New Zealand and Australia. The annual 'Big Day Out' festival series this year includes Scot-rockers Franz Ferdinand, Iggy & The Stooges and The Mars Volta.
