"Digging: Radiohead - The Bends"

Lol..radiohead.

I'm glad they're releasing this, maybe it'll help more people get into them...you know...a band with REAL musicians.

Lol..radiohead.

Your point is?
I'm seeing these guys with Opeth and BTBAM this May, but have never really listened to them in earnest... perhaps this would be a good way to start.

LOL, real musicians. That's a laugh. All I hear in Dream Theater is real wankists who have no concept of songwriting. Petrucci is one of the worst songwriters and even one of the worst shred guitarists I've had the misfortune of hearing.

You're just another typical prog fan who thinks that technical prog wankist bands like Dream Theater are the pinnacle of musical creativity. Get over yourself.

And to just to let you in on something. Altmer is probably the hugest Dream Theater fan here so it was most likely a joke. This Message Edited On 03.20.08

No **** it's my opinion. Was your post not you expressing your opinion like an ass? I just called you out because you made an ass of yourself. I actually think DT has a few good songs.

And no, Petrucci is completely overrated. His solos and guitar parts in general are completely boring to me. Petrucci is not god like you may think. This Message Edited On 03.20.08

Or my opinion is different from yours. So because I don't like Dream Theater, I have no concept of somgwriting? That's laughable. This is exactly why I don't like a lot of Dream Theater fans. They have this idea that people who don't "get" DT have inferior brains.

I always thought Dream Theater were phenomenal musicians and awesome song writers. They are pretty fun to hang out with too.

Its a shame really this Greatest Hit(s) album should have included Voices.

I think Dream Theater are great, but sometimes they do get a little full of themselves and go a little overboard. They'll never do better than Scenes From A Memory Part 2 in my opinion.
