I did write up a brief summary, but i don't know what happened to it, btw this is my first news article so im kind of a "nubbin"
| |
So edit it or something...
| |
Sounds good.
| |
Yea go to edit and the text is there, but oh well it says it all on the link anyways, the New James Bond theme? hmmm could be interesting, hopefully better than Chris Cornell's from Casino Royale
| |
i hope this is more consistent than BH&R
looking forward regardless
| |
Everyone needs more fifteen minute space rock solos. Even Opeth.
| |
Black holes was a big dissapointment to me. hoping this is more like absolution.
| |
Honestly, if they want a new Bond theme, they might as well give the producers their song "Uno".
| |
What's with all the BhaR hate? That album was pop goodness. Given it's not as good as Absolution and definately OoS, it was better than Showbiz and it's hecka fun to listen to.
| |
yeah bh&r is kinda better than people give it credit for
| |
We shall see...
Looking at BH&R almost two years on, I only really listen to four of the tracks of it nowadays.
Though, as an absolutely massive Muse fan, this comes above all in terms of albums I'm looking forward too :D.
| |
Once again I really wish this was about Bill Bellamy and not Muse.
| |
Eh, I rather hope that it's spacey in the same sense as OoS, not so much like Absolution.
| |
So basically an album of Matt wanking like he does on stage.
Meh.
| |
agreed with Altmer, I was listening to Absolution earlier today, and then I realized that BHaR is worse than it, but not by too much. Sure theres a bit of poop in there, but it has some good tracks here and there. People bash it too much.
I'm looking forward to this, maybe not as much as Deftone's Eros later this year, but it I still hope it's good.
| |
This sounds unbearably lame.
| |
i actually like BH&R the same as Absolution. I feel it has stronger, more interesting vocal work.
that said, can't wait for a new muse CD, and i like what i'm hearing out of his mouth. cry sellout all you like but Supermassive Black Hole was one of the best 2006 pop tracks, and if Bellamy can keep making impressive pop rock music that makes me NOT want to shoot my local radio DJ then cheers to him!
| |
I thought Absolution was a bit of a bore and that BH&R was refreshingly unique, so this news makes me happy.
| |
nah, Absolution just has track after track of gold. While Black Holes and Revelations has better highlights, but drops the ball in a few tiny places.
| |
and supermassive black hole has an amazing groove so the new stuff should be good.
| |
interesting, I would say Absolution had the better highlights but was inconsistent as a whole

this
| |
I'd say that BH&R had better highlights (Take A Bow, Map Of The Problematique, City Of Delusion) and Absolution was a far far far more consistent/cohesive album, hence why Absolution is my #1 Muse album.
It would be OOS, but they ruined that with their god-awful cover of Feeling Good, a song for which I have an entirely irrational level of hatred for.
| |
dude feeling good rules
| |
but clunge, we all know you're wrong about absolution. mediocrity dosn't mean consistancy.
anyway, i am psyched about new muse material. wonder if they'll top in rainbows. despite the fact i like both bands for different reasons, i can't help compare them.
| |
Ultra lame. Ultra.
