Motley Crue Not Suing Lee 2007-12-07 by Dave de Sylvia EMERITUS | 1 Comments | Motley Crue's have reiterated that they are not suing drummer Tommy Lee.
Speaking in court, the group's attorney Skip Miller stated: "This band is not going to sue Tommy Lee; this lawsuit is not about Tommy Lee. It is about Carl Stubner's tactics that we contend harmed Motley Crue and cost the band millions of dollars."
The band contends that Stubner, as manager of Motley Crue, forced Lee "to become engaged in 'reality' projects that were bad career moves for Lee, harming us, the Motley Crue brand and Lee's own image." Stubner denies ever representing the band. As Lee's personal manager only, Stubner contends that the group should take action against the drummer.
The case is ongoing.
