No Led Zeppelin Tour... Finally!

2007-11-26 by Dave de Sylvia EMERITUS | 9 Comments
There will be no Led Zeppelin tour in 2008, confirmed Robert Plant to the obvious joy of anyone who's read a music news site at any point in the last two months.

Plant will spend the first half of next year on tour with Alison Krauss in support of the pair's album of duets, Raising Sand, released earlier this month. This hasn't stopped British tabloid The Sun raising doubts over the singer's ability to perform the old hits. According to The Sun, Zeppelin have transposed their old hits to a lower key to allow for Plant's weakened vocal chords.

In other news, Jason Bonham is once again looking for work.

Hehe... that's actually kind of sad, even though I would never pay money to go see them. Although it is a relief to finally get the final word on this.

Isn't he in Foreigner? He's a good drummer, despite being a carbon copy of his dad.
Glad to see these won't be touring.

damn, wasn't gonna pay to see them anyways, but would've been nice to know they at least had it in them.

this is for the best, but i'd love to see Plant and Krauss on tour. Raising Sand is awesome.
