New Morrissey Album In 2008 2007-11-03 by Dave de Sylvia EMERITUS | 6 Comments | Morrissey will release a new album and a greatest hits collection in 2008, according to his manager Merck Mercuriadis.
The singer had been signed to Sanctuary Records but his contract expired with the release of Ringleader of the Tormentors last year. A new deal, believed to be with Warner, will be signed in the near future, while Morrissey will resume touring in January of 2008. The new album will be recorded with Tony Visconti and is tentatively due for release in the final quarter of 2008.
