Wolfbrigade New LP 2026-09-10 by John Marinakis CONTRIBUTOR | 0 Comments | Wolfbrigade will release their twelfth studio album, Howl From Underground, on October 9 through Metal Blade Records.
The record follows 2024's Life Knife Death and finds the Swedish crust-punk veterans altering their creative process by working with producer Lawrence Mackrory, whose previous credits include Meshuggah, Katatonia, Paradise Lost and Bloodbath.
Howl From Underground also marks the continued return of drummer David "Dadde" Stark, who originally played with Wolfbrigade between 2002 and 2015 before rejoining the group.
The announcement is accompanied by Cold War Bootlicker. According to the band, the song challenges the illusion of opposing political camps, arguing that their apparent conflict merely conceals an unchanged system demanding obedience under different banners.
The tracklist is:
1. Caveman Motherfuck
2. Doomrunner
3. Howl From Underground
4. Born to Rot
5. When Dogs Cry
6. Cold War Bootlicker
7. Fat Man Hellscape
8. Headhunting
9. Cosmic Meatgrinder
10. Seeking Scapegoats
11. Man Is Wolf to Man
12. Tangled Steel Mask
