The vocals are a bit different for sure, but I don't mind them. Could see them being a bit more grating over the course of what I'm sure will be an hour-long album.

I think the vocals are just a different thing for the album, Joahness was talking on i think Insta or somewhere about how this is a much darker album. He is also 47 apparently which i didnt expect tbh

Johannes responded to a DM I sent about his vocals. This is him stretching his range. He said this was the hardest he worked on his vocals, ever. Remember, he was never the original vocalist nor one by trade. I think it adds some differences to what are usually one note vocals. I’m here for it.

I also found the vocals a bit off-putting the first listen, they felt less blended in vs old stuff and mixed a bit weird but this stopped bothering me by the third listen. Pretty stoked for this.
