Sojourner new LP + singles 2026-05-22 by Sevengill | 2 Comments | Epic/atmospheric black metal band Sojourner have announced their first album in six years and released two singles ahead of its July 10 release. Gateways is the group's first full-length effort since 2020's Premonitions, and features new vocalist Heike Langhans, who joined the band after leaving Draconian.
In the words of guitarist Mike Lamb, “Gateways is a labour of love written over the last few years of outward silence, harnessing the soul of everything we've done before while carrying the band forward toward new horizons and opening the way for what comes next.”
Gateways will also see the band returning to its original label Avantgarde Music after a one-album side quest through Napalm Records. The LP will feature seven tracks, including "Epitaphs" and "Lunar Tear", currently available via production team Ghost Bird Studios' official channel. Pre-orders are currently available through Avantgarde Music and its merch partner Sound Cave.
