A little too in the vein of modern production trends (sonically) which I can’t stand.

Yeah the chorus is pretty average and the verses are a smidge generic but I like it. Agree with Ghost on the production and it gives it a little bit of an Octanecore feel, though that could also be the chord progression in the chorus. It's lacking harmonies and and it's not the hookiest compared with what Cove was doing on S/T. I'm glad this group is back though and I'm super excited to hear what the new album ends up sounding like.

Just looked up recently played tracks and in the past hour they have played: Shinedown, Falling in Reverse, Bullet for my Valentine, Bad Omens, I Prevail, In this Moment, Asking Alexandria, Papa Roach, Breaking Benjamin

Is it just me or does the guitar work sound muffled/quiet in the production? Everything else is loud.

Sad to see so many people finding this average. I thought it was really great. Nice riffs, harmonics, god drumming and Cove vocals are top notch. I also find the chorus really catchy.

I agree, everyone expects a new single to be best of material, I gladly welcome new Saosin, even if it’s par for the course with them.
