LET’S GO
| |
so here we are yet again in 2026 now witnessing cove returning to saosin with aild guitarrist joining in as well
| |
Here’s to hoping the album will be instrumentally punchy, catchy and riff heavy like TTN. Cove needs better harmonies on the other tracks because this is lacking
| |
Stoked they're back. Song is pretty great, growing on me fast.
Alex is such an underrated drummer man I swear
| |
Song fucks
| |
Solid track. Guitar work is better than anything on Along the Shadow
| |
LETTUCE GO
| |
Great song but liking Saosin is a whiplash of an experience.
| |
Hell yeah man. Really good song. Welcome back Saosin with Cove!
| |
This is like saosin pt. 4 by now but this does rip and I hope it lasts this time. Whiplash is a good word for being a fan of this band.
| |
So good!
So happy they're back and glad I finally get to see them at Slam Dunk after being a fan for over two decades
| |
Secret and Whisper you're next !
| |
Song sounds like straight up from the ST, love it
| |
nah the vocal melodies are weak as shit on this track
| |
has the st vibe but doesn’t suck as opposed to that
the chorus is cool
| |
Have zero doubt Anthony Green will be apart of this in some way; Dudes reactivated practically every project he’s been in in the last five years
| |
Instrumentally solid, but lacks a memorable chorus.
| |
cool return and track. sumerian signing some shockingly good acts for them, tho the production is still a bit lacking
| |
What is wrong with you? The chorus is good.
| |
"Secret and Whisper you're next !"
Yes! They've been posting clips lately showing they're recording new material.
| |
Starting over again for the 3rd time
| |
Third times the charm,bby
| |
A little too in the vein of modern production trends (sonically) which I can’t stand.
| |
Yeah the chorus is pretty average and the verses are a smidge generic but I like it. Agree with Ghost on the production and it gives it a little bit of an Octanecore feel, though that could also be the chord progression in the chorus. It's lacking harmonies and and it's not the hookiest compared with what Cove was doing on S/T. I'm glad this group is back though and I'm super excited to hear what the new album ends up sounding like.
| |
"Yeah the chorus is pretty average and the verses are a smidge generic but I like it."
Agreed. also what the fuck is octanecore?
| |
Music that sounds like it would be played on Sirius XM's Octane (Hard Rock & Metal) station.
Sort of a new way of saying 'Radio Rock'.
| |
Just looked up recently played tracks and in the past hour they have played: Shinedown, Falling in Reverse, Bullet for my Valentine, Bad Omens, I Prevail, In this Moment, Asking Alexandria, Papa Roach, Breaking Benjamin
| |
Is it just me or does the guitar work sound muffled/quiet in the production? Everything else is loud.
| |
"Alex is such an underrated drummer man I swear"
^this
also, let's fucking gooooooooo
| |
Their last album being 10 years ago makes me sick to my stomach lol I was sure that was like 2020
| |
Sad to see so many people finding this average. I thought it was really great. Nice riffs, harmonics, god drumming and Cove vocals are top notch. I also find the chorus really catchy.
| |
I agree, everyone expects a new single to be best of material, I gladly welcome new Saosin, even if it’s par for the course with them.
| |
"Yes! They've been posting clips lately showing they're recording new material."
Now we just need an Of Machines reunion 🙏
| |
I will listen to anything that doesn’t involve Anthony green whining
| |
this band will not die, I love the tenacity
| |
reich you should check circa survive
| |
Hmm, wasn't expecting this guy to sound so much like the original guy. Not bad!
| |
Yeah it's almost unbelievable
| |
Is this the same guy that was on Translating? I always thought it was Anthony Green.
| |
Thought you were joking. This is Cove, the guy that took over for Green
| |
Hey, you can't be messing with me like that. This is very reminiscent of Translating. Like an Anthony-lite. They could've and would've fooled me.
