The song is pretty good, impressed at Nick still trying (and succeeding) in pulling off the Icon-esque vocals, and some cool growls too. As a whole it's not one of their most memorable singles, but I dig it.

Sounds straight off Tragic Icon. I liked that record so no shade. It's very bog standard and forgettable, but 17 albums in cant moan too much about them just drawing within the lines

One of the most consistent metal bands, Greg can still write killer riffs 30 years later

Sound work has been beefed to awesome effect, though it's not as beefed as in Tragic Idol.

I like the intro, the rest is standard PL quality (which is still good, but I was hoping for something better)

I was really hoping they'd move on from this sound. It feels like this is the longest the band have stuck to one sound ever.

Willie, I'd argue they kept a part of the TPW - Obsidian sound while expanding on the one from Tragic Idol, so they kinda did switch up again relative to the last 2 records at least. Also, feel some more rock & roll on this one. That being said, I'm mildly surprised that this is being received as well as it is. I can't settle on whether I like it a lot or if it's mid, kinda weird. That bridge section self-plagiarisation around the 2 min mark is throwing me off quite strongly still. Anyone care to identify which song that melodic section is identical to?

New song is awesome. New video shows that AI still isn't that great - but it is getting better

idk I'm not feeling the new one, which is very weird for me, kind of feels lacking in depth and emotion
