Takaat announces EP, shows 2025-03-21 by aaronrkc | 1 Comments | Takaat (pronounced "tuh-cot") is a new band made up of Ahmoudou Madassane, Mikey Coltun, and Souleymane Ibrahim (the rhythm section of Nigerian experimental rock act Mdou Moctar). The group's debut EP, Is Noise, Vol. 1, is due out on April 19 via Purplish. The first single, "Amidinin," is streaming and pre-orders for the EP (digital and vinyl) are available now. Spring tour 2025 dates are below.
