Each time I listen to Youngest Daughter (and the rest of Jar), I struggle to remember that this isn't some mid-90s grunge rock album but came out just 10 years ago. Hell of an effort to capture a very specific sound and convince my ears that I'm listening to something 30 years old.

can anyone recommend some albums that actually sound a lot like Jar ? At first thought it seems like they're emulating hundreds but I can't actually think of many who, and Foo fighters debut is the first one that comes to mind

teenage wrist's chrome neon jesus and heavenward's pyrophonics are the closest that come to mind (and they came later)
