From Indian Lakes New Album 2024-03-13 by jcurry094 | 22 Comments | California emo-turned-dream pop project From Indian Lakes have released their first new song in 5 years, "The Fold." While definitely leaner than anything on Dimly Lit, the song is still atmospheric, expansive, and dynamic.
The single release is coupled with the announcement of a new album, Head Void, out May 15, as well as a Spring tour.

not my dislexic ass confusing them with Indian Summer :C, songs good tho
| | | So excited!! Can’t believe it’s been 5 years since the last album. I know Joey has been wanted to do something more gazey and distorted, glad he’s finally going for it.
| | | how i miss the emo, but im down for the shoegaze. good song
| | | Surprisingly good.
| | | best band, so excited
| | | Pika will hate this so much. Another non shoegaze band trying shoegaze.
| | | I care more about what Trump ate for lunch today than I do about pika’s opinion about anything related to sound waves
| | | Can't wait for the record. Has some EFBN vibes but quite heavier this time.
| | | this makes me miss the absent sounds/able bodies era
| | | I desperately miss Absent Sounds/Able Bodies but I like this more than anything they've done since those two
| | | Y'all should check out his solo stuff then, it's more stripped down. Although don't know how the new one is since I haven't gotten around to listening for some stupid reason. All the stuff he puts out is amazing tho.

Spicy.
| | | I actually liked Absent Sounds and Able Bodies not because they were stripped down but because they were way more emotive than his recent work
I still get goosebumps just thinking about 'Till I Can Walk
| | | “Indian”?! I’m offended!!!
| | | > Surprisingly good.
how? pretty much everything this band has done is good/great
| | | Yessss!!!!
| | | 15 May is a Wednesday, I thought music got released on Friday’s so 17th?
| | | Huh yeah that is weird
| | | @NorwichScene This single was released on a Wednesday, too.
| | | garbage band yeah
| | | nice b8 brah
and yeah project, he's def mellowed out, the solo stuff isn't like that. hope he goes back there one day but i love everything he's done.
