Arcade Fire Join The Boss

2007-10-15 by JohnXDoesn't | 10 Comments
Arcade Fire's Win Butler and Regine Chassagne joined Bruce Springsteen on his trek through Ottawa, Canada last night for two encores that saw Bruce and The E Street Band rip though their own State Trooper before heading into a spirited version of Arcade Fire's own Keep The Car Running. You can view video of the performances at the links below.

Bruce Springsteen And The E Street Band will continue their trek across North America in support of Springsteen's acclaimed new album "Magic." Meanwhile after last nights show Arcade Fire have returned to being mere mortals and doing whatever it is Canadians do.

Hey, McP, don't diss Canada. We'll... umm.... we'll...
...
...
Damn, it's hard to be threatening while still maintaining the air of non-commital and passiveness that we've become famous for... Oh well.

We'll drop a military helicopter on you, or something.

You already gave us Alanis Morrisette, Finger Eleven and Nickelback I think you've done enough damage

Woo! Video's @ Rolling Stone/Youtube...it's ok. The performance itself is pretty sweet (State Trooper & Keep The Car Running), but vid quality is lacking.
*shrugs* Here's to a few more shows together.

Saw this live! It was pretty unexpected, I didn't even know they were from the Arcade Fire when they got on stage let alone that they were performaing an Arcade Fire song.
