their one mistake was choosing Howard fucking Benson as their producer at the time. as an unwritten rule, you should never let that thing go near your music with a 50-foot pole unless you want your music to be sold to 50-year old milfs

The Howard Benson hate is kind of weird, last I knew he had a pretty strong track record for making albums sound good.

Howard Benson is one of the worst, if not THE worst producer in rock and metal today. Everything he produces sounds so compressed to hell and dry and for some reason radio stations eat that sort of shit up.

Sure he's done some good albums, but at the same time the worst things about those said albums was almost always the production.

Benson used to actually be decent in the 2000's, but it does feel like somewhere along the way he stopped giving a shit

Old fan of this band, even as an ex-Christian nowadays. Snippet sounded good, I liked the screams and the riff, but a video to announce a single two months in advance is bullshit.
