Will check because I want that art in my year-end list
| |
This should be a bop
| |
They basically turned into a psychobilly band with a harsh vocalist
| |
I'm all for that.
| |
These Kvelertak signature guitar harmonies are cool, but the song doesn't feel 'punchy' enough (thrash section aside).
| |
yeah sounds a bit flat by kvelertak standards
| |
clever cat
| |
Quite enjoyed Splid when it came out so I am looking forward for this. Still need to get round to their other albums.
| |
Miss their sound from their first album. Still curious about this.
| |
the goats are back in town baby

I love goats
Hail Goatan!

sounds like Blink-182
| |
yeah they poppin off yo
| |
The melodic side of their music has never been a problem, in fact, it's what made their music so compelling.
I miss the catchy lead guitar riffs and the blast beats, but I understand I'm in a minority.
| |
last album was great, so I'm expecting another solid release
| |
Already sounds so much better than the last two, time to get hyped. Miss that self titled and Meir sound but this still kicks ass.
| |
Very Baroness-y but it's nice
| |
Fun track, but they simply were more interesting with those black metal elements sprinkled on top.
| |
this band sucks!

“ Fun track, but they simply were more interesting with those black metal elements sprinkled on top. “ [2]
Missing that first vocalist something fierce too, this dude is just nowhere near as good
| |
Even if I can hear them all doing something different every now and then, I feel like 3 guitarists for music like this is overkill. Sonically, it's more uninteresting and accessible than the early days, which is wild cause I already thought they were extremely accessible before. The melodic arpeggio riff and the guitar hero bits are pretty sweet though. The thrashy section almost felt shoehorned.
| |
The three guitars were justified in their early days: one guitar played a riff, the other guitar played that same riff one octave higher, and the third guitar played chords.
But from Nattesferd onwards then yahhp, it's an overkill.
| |
This is like, mad cheesy and jubilant even by Kvelertak standards.
Ofc, I mean that in the best of ways, this shit slaps
| |
wow this sucks big time
| |
yep. pure poop
