Omerta's Antiamorous single

2023-04-04 by Vanilla Scoop Rangler (don\'t come near me I have a gun) | 25 Comments
Houston, Texas band Omerta released a new track titled "Antiamorous", featuring experimental hip hop artist Johnnascus. This is the first single released after the 2021 single "I Luv U 2", and the first single for the upcoming EP Suicycle. The band initially planned to release it last year, but they ran into a problem when uploading it to Spotify for allegedly being "too inappropriate."

Omerta also has a list of added tour dates for "Melancholy May" with The Amity Affliction and Can't Swim.

You can stream the song on certain platforms:

I kinda like these guys, they're so obnoxious but also such fun. Song needs work but the clean vocals sound great.

I bought tickets for me and one of my best friends to go see Loathe. This was one of the bands that opened up for them. Honestly, I was laughing at them for a minute or two because they have such a bizarre attitude and stage presence - but by the end of their set, I was totally into it. These guys are actually doing something interesting to listen to with the type of shit they're playing. And they're tight musicians. And their bass player looks like Billy Corgan.

Imagine if the vocalist of Archspire did the vocals for this band. Would be leagues better

There's a strangely entertaining quality to this...saw them live a few months back and they were interesting to say the least. neither good nor bad. idk this might grow on me.

idk man there is an oversaturation of nostalgia core but this is one of the few songs i've heard that has its own distinct character to it and is clearly tryna meld a bunch of shit together - and this song does that properly imo. lots of early 2k sass, ismfof spazz, sprinkle over w zoomer autism

"tbh a lil too goofy for me but it goes hard"

That's exactly how I felt about it too. Maybe they'll be good in a few years. Plenty of bands used to suck but produce great music nowadays.

I'm a goofy guy and a short king (like the singer) and I like nu-metal and metalcore and I like Omerta.

@MoM in some ways yeah, pretty much. I think it sounds more of like Vein.FM if they went hyperpop
