Extol hint at '23 comeback

2023-01-18 by No joke names, please, or you will have a temporary ban. | 21 Comments
Christian progressive/avantgarde metallers Extol have shared two posts on their Facebook page which most likely point in the direction of a comeback. Yesterday's group picture showing what seems at least a momentary reunion of all the band members from the Undeceived lineup (Christer and Peter Espevoll, David Husvik and Ole Børud together with bassist Tor Magne Glidje) was followed today by the announcement of what appears to be the band's enrolment for Furnace Fest in Birmingham, Alabama in September of this year, saying "U S A - It has been 18 years! It's about time!"
Band members as yet haven't shared any further details on new music or upcoming shows.

So why would they reunite for just 1 US show? I'm hopeful I guess...

Well I'll be damned. But does that mean no more Azusa? Cause that would be sad.

Being this is 2023 I don't see why the two should be mutually exclusive. But anyway, boy am I ready for some Extol.

I wish extol would re-record Undeceived. Imagine that album with killer production.…

Oh boy. Now this is a comeback I would greatly appreciate. Top tier band. The longest standing name in my Top 10 bands ever.
