Qubinoix SOTY 2023 2022-11-27 by fluid in its most purist form. always drenched in an undeniable regal divinity. | 0 Comments | The Japanese shoegaze band Qubinoix have announced a new single "Soleil wa Furimukanai" to be released on New Year's Day 2023, at which point it may be aspirationally declared Song of the Year or, if you will, Song of the Day.
Qubinoix is a project of veteran shoegazer Ichimaki, who performs vocal and guitar duties for the group. Their first EP Cubic Room released in October last year. It slapped!
Ichimaki was also the key member of the '90s post-hardcore/gaze act BP., who slap. She was also a guitarist for the iconic crossover shoegaze band Coaltar of the Deepers in the early '00s. She is good.
