Electric Callboy's hurricane

2022-08-20 by iamSeraph | 20 Comments
German "fun Metalcore" veterans Electric Callboy (formerly Eskimo Callboy) just released the fifth single of their upcoming album TEKKNO, which will be out on the 9th of September.

The song "Hurrikan" (German for hurricane) is only barely two minutes long and the first half is a dig at their turned-down application for the European Song Contest, even featuring erstwhile pornstar and now Mallorca pop idol Mia Julia in their music video, while the second half shows pure brutality.

After slightly under 24 hours of being uploaded on YouTube, the video already features half a million views, which is unheard of for a German band of this genre. Check it out yourself and decide if you hype or hate this musical fusion with an obvious ironic wink:

Everytime I see something like this I can't help wonder if maybe Attack! Attack! was too far ahead of its time.

Lol, the first half is a parody of german schlager music, so that's definitely funny.

remembering how this bands first song was called "Is Anyone Up" and smiling wistfully like a war veteran visiting his old buddies grave one last time
