I am very excited for this, the single is great
| | | i quite like it. more like their s/t album than anything else
| | | I always forget this band exists. Never should have changed their name
| | | good single, hope the album is good. didn't listen to their most recent one, I feel like they fell off
| | | They def fell off as far as I'm concerned. Only had flashes of greatness since Viet Cong, imo. I know it's unfair to expect the same thing, but the quality of VC and everything before it with Women is just a way higher level and I'm tired of being disappointed. I have negative hype.
| | | man when Viet Cong dropped that was the shit. I'm gonna go listen to Continental Shelf now...
| | | Pretty much a perfect album. Really glad I got to see them tour on it.
| | | NICE
| | | I remember not being very excited about their previous album but I'll be sure to check this out again.
| | | haven’t listened to this band since their 2nd s/t album. This track rules and I think I like it even more than Viet Cong
| | | not sharing the critique itt. loved most everything they did apart from 'New Material' and i love the fact that every one of their iterations goes into a completely new direction, from Women's noise, to Viet Cong's robust post-punk, to s/t's moody industrial tignes, i wish NM had more vision than just "let's do even more industrial this time"
excited for the new record
| | | I've liked everything this band has done so far, even NM which many found disappointing. One of my fav bands from the past decade
| | | very vibey single
| | | yeah tbh New Material wasn't nearly as bad as it was portrayed to be
| | | Plenty of great tracks on that album
