Falls of Rauros Album Stream

2022-03-23 by Brandon Scott EMERITUS | 17 Comments
Maine black metal crew Falls of Rauros are streaming their sixth album Key to A Vanishing Future two days ahead of its official release on Gilead Media's Youtube Channel.

Coming nearly three years after the critically lauded Patterns In Mythology, Key to A Vanishing Future embraces a wide range of new influences while also managing to stay true to the band's black and folk metal roots.

You can listen to the record in full below:

Oh joy!

Sounds sweet, I can tell I'm gonna love Desert of Heart. Hope the rest is as good as that.

Is this finally anywhere near the quality of Rotten Wood again? That's the only album of theirs I really like.

Thankfully it's available for purchase today. No need to stream!

It's been a lousy day, but this purchase gives me good dopamine. Now get in my headphones FoR.

I was listening to this on the way to work today and it's so fucking good. As much as I love that record, I'm just so happy they didn't rinse and repeat Patterns in Mythology. This is such an awesome step forward while still very much sounding like classic "Falls of Rauros".

oh yeah, compression sucks agreed, but it's nice to get a free sneak peak before picking up a vinyl, which for some reason (maybe production) doesn't exist for this yet.
