Look up literally any modern pop song on YouTube and I guarantee the video will have like a quarter-billion views, I watch plenty of music videos but even if I didn't they're still a pretty big part of the industry

I usually open a video in another tab to hear the song but I rarely actually watch it. I realize a ton of work goes into them, but nothing will ever top just watching an hour of music videos on MTV way back in the day
