Zach de la Rocha album ready

2007-09-18 by Iai EMERITUS | 15 Comments
Timing is everything in music, so Rage fans will be pleased to know that now everybody has stopped giving a crap about Zach de la Rocha's solo album, he's actually gone and finished it.

It's described as "a hybrid of Led Zeppelin and Dr. Dre." Clearly, this is a massive departure from a hybrid of Led Zeppelin and Public Enemy, which he's been doing since 1991. De La Rocha is currently unsigned and is apparently considering offers for his signature. It is not announced whether the material he has recorded with DJ Shadow, Trent Reznor, or ?uestlove in the past seven years (!) will be included.

So maybe Chinese Democracy will come out after all! No wait, that's retarded.

I guess that really is what Rage was... maybe a bit more funk and more menacing that Zep was. Public Enemy sounds accurate though. This may be interesting, who knows.

Umm...well Zach is a pretty good lyricist so I don't know why you would think that.
