Yeah! Anti-Flag rock the punk world. Better than the other so-called Oh Wow I'm a Political Punk band now Green Day. American idoit's. Can't wait untill AF new record
|

Green Day are still political and still amazing, though they're too good to be real punk now.
AF is good but nothing earth shattering.
|
| |
You guys serious?
|
| |
These guys take a lot of sh-t because they're a little douchy...
But I personally like their music. I'll be getting this.
|
| |
Sorry for the double post but,
"Green Day are still political and still amazing, though they're too good to be real punk now."
hahahahahahahahaha!!!!
|
| |
i dont like being "online tough guy" and all, but those two dudes at the top need to shut the hell up
|
| |
Sadly I find Anti-Flag to only be a good listen now and then and even then the only redeming quality about them is that #2 plays a mean bass.
|
| |
All these comments are depressing as hell.
|
| |
cuz no one has respect for anyone's opinions anymore...it is depressing

Green Day are still political and still amazing, though they're too good to be real punk now.
Can you really blame us for not respecting that?
I only have AF's newest cd and i find it very enjoyable. The new song was ok but definately not their best.
|
| |
exactly!

Fo sho. The bass player makes the band.

A little late posting this one, but whatever. It is a good song, Anti-Flag is a good band, and #2 is a great bassist.
|

Man, AF last record kicked ass and I understood where they were coming from, politically. But personally, I had more fun listening to NOFX's American Errotist.
Green Day used to be okay, but they decided to be political and went down the shitter.

Yeah, I just happened upon Anti-flag's website and saw their new song. Then I saw that there was absolutely no discusion about it so I decide to post. I think the song is good. In a way it's like every other Anti-flag song, but then it is different... if that makes sense.
Green Day is REALLY nothing special.. it beats me why they're famous, and they probably take more slack for being douchebagy than Anti-flag does, which is fine with me.

dude you say you understand anti-flags politics, then say green day sucks BECAUSE of politics, and you listen to nofx who can be political
plus 'american errorist' is a song not a cd
|
| |
oh and the new song is pretty good =)
|
| |
My mistake, sorry I meant War On Errorism.. Green Day PRETENDS to be political, but its all a marketing scam. They play songs about Hurricane Katrina, poverty and war, but all the $$$ they make goes into their bloody pockets! American Idoits!
Anti-Flag are at least getting somewhere. And plus, I really now admire Dropkick Murphys for standing up and helping out the working class unions. Thats awesomeThis Message Edited On 09.19.07This Message Edited On 09.19.07

Green day isnt pretending to be political and its not a marketing scam. They're just old as sh-t now and think that writing more politically makes the smarter and their music more meaningful.
Its not a conscious choice to try to trick people. Thy just suck.
