Are you Too Dead Inside for Yeule? 2022-01-14 by fluid in its most purist form. always drenched in an undeniable regal divinity. | 15 Comments | Ambient pop artist Yeule has released a new single "Too Dead Inside" in advance of their highly anticipated new album, Glitch Princess, out February 4th.
Co-produced with Danny L Harle, this song follows a diverse spread of singles including:
・a digitalised monologue ("My Name is Nat Ćmiel")
・emo-tinged acoustic dream pop stunner ("Don't Be So Hard on Your Own Beauty")
・masterpiece of post-industrial glitch pop ("Friendly Machine")
・5-hour ambient track also co-produced with Harle ("The Things They Did For Me Out Of Love"; digital bonus track)
"Too Dead Inside" is perhaps the most straightforward pop song of the bunch, evoking R&B's qualities on perhaps Yeule's most direct vocal performance to date. Along with its companion singles, it suggests a more explicitly personal and stylistically varied approach than their 2019 debut Serotonin II. It should be prioritised at all costs by all peoples.
