Afreet's song for Afghanistan

2021-09-08 by DatsNotDaMetulz | 3 Comments
The US/UK based Afghan post-metal group Afreet, featuring two former members of District Unknown, has released a new single influenced by the ongoing situation in Afghanistan, where the Taliban have seized control amid a mass exodus from citizens attempting to flee religious extremism.

All proceeds from the track, "My Land is Breaking", will go to Sound Central, in order to help evacuate refugees. You can purchase the track on Bandcamp:

I'm deeply concerned for the Afghan people, particularly the women, who are going to go through hell. Unfortunately, this part of the world will never find peace.

Big fan of Afreet and what they're doing, they deserve to go places.
