Emo rockers Hawthorne Heights have announced that their 8th album - follow up to 2019’s Lost Frequencies - will be released in September under the title The Rain Just Follows Me via Pure Noise Records.

Alongside the announcement of the new album, which was produced by Grammy-winner Cameron Webb, the band have already dropped 2 singles - Constant Dread and the albums' title track. The former features a guest appearance from COUNTERPARTS‘ Brendan Murphy.

Listen to both singles below:

The Ohio quartet is now set to perform on Bayside's 21 Years Of Bad Luck US Tour together with Senses Fail and The Bombpops.

constant dread has a cool bassline in verse + bass tone but otherwise that scream in the chorus kills the momentum for me.

Fragile Future is such a guilty pleasure album. This band is actually bad and awesome at the same time...and I'm fine with it.

The fuck, really?

Saw them live two years back, the vocalist honestly acted like it was gonna be their last tour.

They’ve been making kind of good music for awhile. They have really nice guitar tones but their singer has been whiney for the past few records. I like their early heavy shit, Skeletons was the last album I cared for

This is the year of our lord 2021 and I'm listening to and enjoying Hawthorne Heights.
Me in 2006 is so disappointed in me and also just really surprised Hawthorne Heights is still around.

There's only 7 albums on their lp section. What gives?

They had an acoustic re-release of their first album that might technically count, but definitely isn't neat enough to count on sputnik, heh.

I had to look at their wiki discography section to figure that one out, I guess I'm basically an internet sleuth now.

How has this band survived for 15 years past the last time they were relevant? Honestly impressive.

They're cool dudes and just like making music for their smaller admittedly but loyal fanbase. Don't see the problem with that.

Also I wouldn't count acoustic Silence as an LP but that's just me.
