Pretty good actually
|
| |
not bad, the breakdowns kinda slam
|
| |
This band sure loves their harmonics
|
| |
I like some of their stuff but god I really hate this band. Maybe because the singer started to yell at me on a livestream for correcting him giving misinformation. But idk. Band has more bad material than good, and Catharsis was genuinely embarrassing to sit through
|
| |
Not bad at all, second half reminds of Halo with those pinch harmonics.
Chorus is pretty good too, dig the cleans.
|
| |
Terrible
|
| |
jump tha fukk up riffs wew
|
| |
Robb Flynn shouldn't be allowed to write lyrics.
|
| |
Funny how the guitars are totally buried under the vocals.
And the song is beyond terrible. If you enjoy this you don’t like Metal.

A discount song from Bloodstone and Diamonds. Still the best thing they dropped in the last five years.
|
| |
I'm no audio engineer, but Robb's vocals during the vocals sound really processed to me, in a bad way
On the shittier end of decent otherwise though. Mix is ass at points, but I still love Robb's style of riffage
|
| |
Vogg add nothing to this band, good move to hire him
|
| |

Machine Amarth
|
| |
Amon Head
|
| |
Good to see Logan back but his best stuff right now is with Once Human.
|
| |
sounds like they're about to drop another 5/5 album, just like catharsis
|
| |
whops
|
| |
Great riffs, relatively bad vocals, relatively bad mixing. Still surprising they managed to drop anything of even slightly commendable quality though.
|
| |
Jesus them cleans...
yikes
|
| |
"sounds like they're about to drop another 5/5 album, just like Catharsis"
If you enjoy catharsis you don't like metal
|
| |
Say what you will, Through the Ashes... , Blackening and ...Locust , are all amazing
|
| |
Not really
|
| |
"If you enjoy catharsis you don't like metal"
I don't. but I like machine headcore
|
| |
This is okay. Some of the heavy parts bang, the ooooooooh whoooooooa parts not so much.
|
| |
hope vogg quits and does something interesting instead
|
| |
its alright but its basically boring ass metalcore
|
| |
robb flynn its time to hang em up
|
| |
pure shite
|
| |
Better than anything off of Catharsis. Not sure if that's saying much after that train wreck of an album, though.
|
| |
why is robb singing like this? it's fucking awful, but the guitar work is good at least
|
| |
It sure sounds like it was taken from Through the Ashes of Empire.
But Machine Head in 2020 feels like a detestable girl you deeply regret ever having had sex with.
|
| |
> If you enjoy this you don’t like Metal.
haha, thanks for that.
also the intro is the weak sauce of https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MehRXWGruMk
|
| |
why oh why did i click play
|
| |
sick of robbs dumbass woooooaaaoooaaah's
|
| |
this sure is a machine head song
|
| |
like I give a damn
|
| |
Yeah, I'm not really feeling this one. And I liked Bloodstone and Diamonds.
The harmonized guitar lead into the following "heavy" riff is pretty solid later in the song, but in the verses, I don't think the tone of his vocals really fit the exact energy, and are in too familiar and comfortable of a place to really engage me.
I like the bassist's vocal line in the chorus contrasting the backdrop in a sort of choir-like fashion, but the way the "woah" parts are delivered sounds like it's more catered towards the arena-going mainstream metal crowd, particularly with the way the vocals are processed... Not feeling it.
Sorry Flynn. Keep at it and maybe you'll snag another solid project, but it ain't gonna happen on auto-pilot. Check your obstacles and move forward.

Haven't heard the song, just came here to watch the aftermath of the car crash.
|
| |
Sounds good screw the haters
