Macabre are back

2020-09-04 by Fernando Alves STAFF | 4 Comments
After nearly ten years of hibernation, extreme metal pioneers Macabre are back with a brand new album, Carnival of Killers, out November 13th via Nuclear Blast Records.

New track 'The Lake Of Fire' can be streamed below.

Macabre's Corporate Death comments: " 'The Lake Of Fire' is about the hidden bunker that Leonard Lake and Charles Ng had where they tortured and killed young women with tools and filmed it all. Those were two very evil men so I thought the title was fitting!!! I started writing the chorus back in our Grim Scary Tales era and finally finished the song all these years later for the new album Carnival Of Killers. I hope you like it, I wanted a lot of variety on the new album, this is just a taste."

Tracklist:

1. Intro
2. Your Window Is Open
3. Joe Ball Was His Name
4. Sticky
5. Abduction
6. Tea Cakes
7. Them Dry Bones
8. Richard Speck Grew Big Breasts

One of my intros to metal. Track sounds cool. Last time they came to town everyone complained about their set. I missed the show though. Hopefully I'll see them one day

Man they are HILARIOUS live. Saw em open for Exhumed reunion tour in 2011 and it was great. Macabre's frontman does an into to each song telling you about the Serial Killer they wrote it for.

incredible live band!! but this one? I love the bass and the vocals and the few chaotic drum parts. But horrible sound, kinda reminds me of Morbid Angel's latest! guitar is a bit unremarkable...
