It reminded me of Bowie, but to be honest, I'm not familiar with anything he's done this century.

This is really cool and unexpected. Love the melodies here. Reminds me of one of the softer tracks on High End of Low meets Bowie. Which is a great thing imo.

Mason's cover of The Door's The End, last year was amazing, hope the new album delivers.

This is the closest thing we've gotten to a Mechanical Animals vibe since 1998. I love it. Hopefully the rest of the album is good too. Heaven Upside Down was really disappointing outside of a few songs.

Manson is very hit or miss. He’s definitely going for the collective zeitgeist right now. His best work was always collaborative (Trent Reznor,
David Bowie, Billy Corgan).

Feels very Bowie. Song has a happy exterior and dark interior vibe which is a bit refreshing for what I know of Manson. Not bad.

I honestly really like the direction he goes here. It isn't too alt that he doesn't sound like himself. This is definitely the most similar to a stripped down version of Mechanical Animals. I want him to still retain his dark elements though.

The lyrics are weak and it's sad.

These days there are 1-2 songs on each album that have some strong lyrics and the rest is hit and miss

It was around the GAOG era that I started questioning his lyrics.

This sounds like he's trying too hard for a modern pop sound, except pop music hasn't even sounded like this in years

I dig it. Music video is pretty entertaining. Song made me think of Lennons "Mind Games"

123. I would love for this record to be consistent, and I really enjoy this song.
