Falloch release a new album

2020-02-16 by starboystargirl | 17 Comments

Experimental metal band Falloch has released their new album "Diabolus" on Bandcamp.

The release shows a return to metal, having ventured into avantgarde rock with their previous release, "Prospice".

As per the Facebook post:

"A touch more Satanic than our previous works but still coming from the same place of inspiration which is simply sounds we haven't heard before. We had SO much fun making this. A blistering two days in La Chunky resulted in these three tracks that explore the monolithic and crushing ends of the sound spectrum.

For those that miss our metal days, here you go. For the rest, fear not, we have two albums on the hard drive and plans to make another (the 6th) in summer time. The sounds on these are a lot more... Well, they are just different and not metal. A lot of things but certainly not metal. With these three records we want to either self-release or find a label. The prior needs a lot of money and the latter requires meeting someone that we feel we can really get on with. Neither has happened and until it does you won't hear them. But we really want you to! Let's just see what happens."

Pretty cool. Not really my thing but I can appreciate it. This Island, Our Funeral is a jam.

Andy isn't even in the band anymore, this record wouldn't seem to have anything to do with Saor

I thought this was an Agalloch cover band, I mean 'Fall-och'... really? I dig Saor though.

trevorpost probably IS Andy, I mean this is his first comment.

Hi Andy, I've noted that you're not involved in this project anymore. Thanks for the info.

if you add just one letter to the band's name you can get most people's opinion on them

i'll let you figure this one out if you werent around when noctus slammed the fuck outta them

Does the addition of one letter require the removal of one too?

Failoch.

FWIW; Saor guy left after the first album, and every album after that has had nothing to do with black metal or blackgaze. Idk if you can ignore that this site tells you to hate this band, they've got some super solid tunes.
