I went to the tour and I know this is what everyone thought, but I’m kinda surprised. He sucked during Dope’s set but nailed the Static-X vocals.

Yeah if they decide to continue after Project Regeneration is done, they should change their name. Call the group Wisconsin Death Trip - a homage to their debut album, the only album to feature these musicians together, and also, if I remember correctly, the group's name before changing to Static-X.

ya i'm listening to a recent live vid of them and if you close your eyes, edsel does a pretty great job emulating wayne's vocals. they should deff change the band name if they continue on after this album though.

They should call themselves Static-Y or some shit like that.

I mean, you’re essentially watching a Static-X cover band now. I don’t think I could muster up the enthusiasm for a piece of a band that hasn’t been relevant for twenty years.

Dope were doing the cringy, whiny, faux political thing before Machine Head's Catharsis ever came out, by the way. They were doing albums just like and just as bad as Catharsis in the early 2000's.

When they played that Dope song when freddie Chang or whatever was getting arrested in fast and the furious that was pretty cool ngl
