The band was rejuvenated and inspired on Kodama. Here they sound bored, apathetic and going through the motions.

Another solid single, I'm not too worried as long as they have a couple of longer songs that go somewhere on the album, which I'm sure they will as Neige has reiterated his love for the 6 song, 40 min format

This is actually great, so???? This could have easily been snuck into Kodama. Gorgeous guitar tone, lush melodies, awesome production and percussion.

Production was juuuuuust a little off for me but that wasn't my main issue with this. It was a bit standard, the cliché Alcest song if you will, but missing that one interesting, distinguishing element.

I must say that during my last respin of this I enjoyed it a whole lot more than before.

tho I agree, of the two vocal lines, one of them was super annoying to me (the one that comes in second and is mostly just in the background). I liked the first one.
Definitely too repetitive and long, but almost a good song.
