New Laura Stevenson album 2019-02-05 by dimsim3478 | 34 Comments | New York artist Laura Stevenson has announced that her fourth studio album The Big Freeze will be released on March 29 via Don Giovanni Records. It is her first studio album in almost four years, following 2015's Cocksure and the digital single "The Mystic & the Master" (released at the end of last year on the birthday of Stevenson's mother). Beginning "last winter", Stevenson quietly recorded The Big Freeze at her childhood home in Long Island with producer Joe Rogers. Stevenson said of the album "this subject matter was difficult to write about, but the album was easy to make." The first single from the album, "Living Room, NY", is available to listen below.
