"Oh, Sleeper"
what, what did they do?
| |
pretty underwhelmed by the single btw
| |
Oxygen's the better song save for the repeated "oxygen" part in the chorus
digging this with more listens though, but I do still feel like it wants to do way more and doesn't
| |
A lot of good ideas not put together well. And wtf is going on with the vocals?
| |
A+ news title
| |
I thought the vocals were really the only great thing about this, Micah is still an ace vocalist
| |
yes
| |
yeah, vocals rule
| |
"A lot of good ideas not put together well." x2
Song doesn't really go anywhere.
| |
why do all my titles turn out as the band name, what in the world
| |
Are you putting the band name where the article title is supposed to be lol
| |
no, I always check for that, yet it still happens every single time... it all started because of P.O.D.
| |
title aside, this single is a bit weak compared to their other stuff, but this is only getting better with repeated listens. Vocals are definitely the best part of the song, no doubt
| |
They're back on solid state. Nice
| |
I'm not sure whether I should bother checking this out or not. I don't listen to a whole lot of this kind of music anymore and this band has been gone so long
| |
No harm in just checking it dude
| |
What if he dies after listening to it
| |
Steak always seeing all the possibilities
| |
"why do all my titles turn out as the band name, what in the world"
just edit it rn and it will be fine
| |
"Steak always seeing all the possibilities"
All of my eyes are open my brother
| |
wait, how many eyes do you have Steak?
| |
Song was alright, thread is more entertaining.
| |
Do you not have at least 4 ty?
| |
I spend my free time prying open my third eye
| |
I spend my free time prying open my brown eye
| |
What color is your other eye(s)
| |
This kinda sounds like Children of Fire riffs combined with the more loose song structures on When I Am God. I really like it. Also whoa, Micah has some lows now. And did Shane throw in some harsh vocals a few times there?
| |
Song is dope. Looking forward for the new album.
| |
“do you not have at least 4 ty?”
sadly, I was born a cyclops
| |
damn, Micah sounds even better than the CoF days
| |
I don't know about that but he sounds phenomenal as always. One of the best in the genre for sure.
| |
Who is worse at putting out a follow up to a critically acclaimed album? Amia venera landscape or these guys?
| |
what really gets me on this song are those intense lows towards the end, I didn’t even think it was Micah at first
| |
"Who is worse at putting out a follow up to a critically acclaimed album? Amia venera landscape or these guys?"
Underoath
| |
The Titan EP was a great follow-up to a critically acclaimed album.
| |
Agreed the lows took me by surprise. Would love to hear that shit going into a typical core breakdown
| |
So is the new full length actually happening or is this band the next tool?
| |
Hope so, this track was solid fun
| |
I thought Titan was super weak. They lost a guitarist after CoF and it was really obvious. None of their music has had the same emotion in it since.
This is okay, I kept waiting for it to really take off but it never did. It has some good moments, but overall I think it's underwhelming. Micah hitting some lows is cool, and the drumming is really enjoyable.
| |
Titan was fucking savage. It's only crime was it was far too short.
| |
Solid. Had no idea they're back together.
| |
This song slaaaaays. Ya'll some fucks.
Those vocals are on point and that riff.... holy hell, that riff. This reminds me of some Silent Planet stuff.
| |
production is weak af and the riffs are so bland and repetitive, the latter of which is surprising because they've generally had a lot of variety and complexity
| |
Eh that was ok. The vocalist pretty much stole the show with those screamz
