Gary Numan? "Here in my car" Gary Numan? Releasing a kick-ass modern industrial track in 2018?! Jesus that's amazing!

I mean he's been doing angry industrial music for 20 years. Pure, which I think was released in 2000, is borderline industrial metal.

Was this crowd-funded?

This guy really interests me. Not only his music, but him as a person, he seems to have autistic quirks (not using that as an insult - Numan himself has said he was diagnosed with Asperger's)

This guy hasn't lost a step

This reminds me I need to listen to more of his music. I loved Splinter but never really went deeper.

All you really need is Exile onwards (although Exile is called Dawn in the US). That's when he started going full industrial. pre-Exile is still him trying to do pop music which didn't really work anymore because his heart wasn't in it and his label was trying to push him to make another Telekon - once he left that album he started doing music he wanted to do. Angry, dark and very very anti-religion.

I, Assassin and Warriors are great 80's Numan albums. Savage reminds me a lot of Warriors.

"All you really need is Exile onwards" Are you mad. Replicas through to Dance are amazing
|
| |
Yeah but if you're only really interested in industrial, Exile is where that all started.

Didn't Numan's industrial sound start with Sacrifice

I juts think fans of his new sound will like a lot of the classic stuff: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4rzKMPxHZrs
