Ed King dead at 68

Ed King, the famous guitarist formerly of Lynyrd Skynyrd and founding member of Strawberry Alarm Clock has officially passed away at the age of 68. While the cause is not specified, King was recently hospitalized for lung cancer.

King joined Lynyrd Skynyrd in 1972 until 1975 and then rejoined in 1987 until 1996 playing on their first three albums.
