These guys know how to groove, but yeah production has never been a strength. This one sounds better though. Decent track too, much more straight forward though.

Monuments singles have always done best within the context of the album. I remember when "I, Creator" and "Origins of Escape" came out I could take them or leave them, but within the context of the album they are crazy good. I really enjoyed this song and I think it's going to hit even harder with the rest of the songs to follow.

Cleans didn't ruin the song, but weren't my cup of tea. I actually thought some stuff off their last LP was cool, but not anything to spam my entire list of music friends with.

Pretty bleh. I really liked the last album aside from the production sounding like ass. This is boring though.

Chorus cleans sound weird. Don't feel so hot about that.

Rest of the song is solid though; this thing grooves.

I wouldn't worry too much about the production. YouTube is known to completely mess up audio mixes, and Browne's said something to that effect.

Looking forward to the full album. Their stuff is always better as a whole.
