I'm hyped. A Lesson In Romantics is one of the most magical and personal albums to me. It's hard when bands take a 180 approach with their sound shortly after their debuts. This is album is shaping up to be ALIR pt. 2. I might finally get closure.

I feel like their style would so improved with some lead guitar lines during the verses for more energy. And I know they are capable of stuff like that so wish it was implemented here. Also not getting any Lesson in romantics vibes from this at all. the dual vocals are missing. the sugary riffs. Sounds more like the self titled if anything. Decent song tho

sick as fuck but the chorus needs to soar a little bit more like if they introduced like a 4th or a 5th in the vocal melody instead of just three notes, maybe if they just brought out those vocal harms more

Idk if Spec just primed me to think that, but "Believe anything as long as it never lets you down" definitely sounds like the sort of thing you'd write in a punk-pop diss track about your old singer who's now doing Christian music.
