Artwork is indeed amazing, I believe it references to iconoclasm. But this cringeworthy video doesn't do the song justice.

have stood with band for a while because they're so close to being so good. But they're honestly kind've jokes. So many riffs beaten to death. So many tracks just self-indulgently long.

Band has written basically one legitimate vocal hook (Empire Falls' chorus) in a decade. At this point, I've crossed into the frustrated region. Hopefully the album has a couple standouts, but I doubt it.

Band is epic and atmospheric as it gets, if you want hooks go listen to Blind Guardian

Got hype when I read the headline but this is just ok

solid track. standard Primordial, not as good as To Hell or the Hangman though.

Damn, they really stripped down their sound. Not liking this track at all but I hope the rest of the album is great.

title track's riff is very hooking. vox are kinda hooking. but not that hooking. TtND is definitely a strong album. I think I have it 4'd, but there were no other tracks for me that had lasting value. Its more that I feel like they should easily be able to write vocal hooks for their riffs, but I think they intentionally don't to please ppl like Hawk.

I remember I wrote an old list like 4 years ago on little phrases like that. Attracted like 250 comments worth of douchery. But ya, its like 99.99% that if you use said phrase, you are a huge bitch. ppl like yourselves have a limited number of lingual formulas to fall back on.
