The music's alright, but has none of the signature brilliance of Perfect Circle past. Also, for a band that had such poignant and effectual lyrics on the first time lyrics, it's kind of lame that this song is literally just about Maynard's fear of technology in the most oldmannish way possible.

Reminds me of my Manowar-listening uncle screaming at me and my cousins growing up playing video games together, "YOU'RE FUCKING SCREENHEADS, STARING AT THE SCREENS ALL DAY" before going out to the garage to get drunk and listen to Twisted Sister whilst working on his car all day every day, only to come in and ignore his family, eat dinner and go to bed. Rinse/repeat.

Not like this song was going to be timeless, but a lyric like that ruined any potential for it.

These songs they've released so far sound oddly experimental for the band. Lots of shifts in mood and tone across a single song, but I really dig it, especially this track.

Last song had fantastic lyrics but the instrumentation was hot and cold for me. This one is the other way around for me.

This APC sound is way better than the old "Tool-knockoff with Nu-metal nuances" sound.

That is the least accurate description of APC that I’ve ever read.

It was a solid tune but the whole time it was playing I felt like it was building towards something until it just ended without ever really going anywhere.

It's a pretty song and all but feels like something is missing.
