Ibeyi and Kamasi Washington Join Forces 2017-08-31 by wtferrothorn | 3 Comments | French-Cuban duo Ibeyi have announced the follow-up to their debut self-titled record, as well as released a track to be featured on the record. Entitled "Deathless", this new single features saxophonist and composer Kamasi Washington, whose EP, Harmony of Difference, is expecting release the same day as Ibeyi's new record. The song, according to Lisa-Kaindé Diaz, is inspired by an arrest in Paris at 16 years old. "Deathless" is the second track on this new album to be released; "Away Away" was released back in June.
Ash will be released on September 29 on XL Records
