Not too bad but far behind the material fans want from Division or The Autumn Effect. Most of my enjoyment from this band relies heavily on Jesse's vocals and those are still really great so I'm intrigued with each release.

I enjoyed this so I'm looking forward to the record.

wait the same guy produced Koi No Yokan and Wolves? KNY had amazing production but Wolves sounded awful...
anyway, this song is not good
|
| |
This is perfectly mediocre.

I don't like their more recent vocal production. Not sure what changed but 2008 and prior his voice blended in more and sounded dreamier. Maybe he just started singing a different way. Some parts aren't bad and remind me of some older songs.

was hoping for something more like The Autumn Effect now that their old guitarist is back but this just sounds like a Feeding the Wolves B-side. hopefully the rest of the album is more atmospheric, some of the song titles definitely give that impression. at least the album art is gorgeous. kind of has a Twin Peaks vibe with the red and green color scheme and the forest.
also I fucked up the album title adding it to the database. oops.

well with Matt Wantland rejoining the band I'm hoping that's the case.
maybe I enjoy the song because I actually like Feeding the Wolves.
|
| |
I like it, but it does kind of have a hollowed-out Feeding the Wolves feel to it.

The chorus is almost acceptable. Almost.

Feels like it's been 10 years since the last one

God this is disappointing, I liked the direction they were going with their last album but this is generic radio rock at best, don't have very high hopes for the rest of it now
