Orphaned Land announce new record 2017-07-10 by kaparoni | 9 Comments | Israeli metal band Orphaned Land will release a new album on January 26th, 2018 via Century Media. The album will be called Unsung Prophets & Dead Messiahs.
According to Kobi Farhi, the vocalist, the new album will include growls. This is the first album to not including Yossi Sassi, who has decided to focus on his solo career.
From the band's Facebook page:
"...We are so thrilled, impatient, and can't wait for you all to listen to the the new Orphaned Land album, 'Unsung Prophets and Dead Messiahs'.
I wish to inform our old school fans: Growls are back as well as killer melodies that will break your hearts!
On a personal note: After a carrier of 25 years, it is truly a great feeling to know that we are still at our best by all means.
Prepare for something strong! Count the days with us. Jan 26th 2018.

Bloody hell they really were impatient to tell us 6 months in advance. Nowadays it's generally just 2 or 3 months between announcement and release.
