holy shit this was good, sounds like a blend of In Requiem and The Plague Within which I'm definitely down with.

I like the atmosphere, but this is some really lazy songwriting for their standards. just compare it to beneath broken earth from plague within. now that's one hell of a doom song.

The album should have only one more song with clean vocals if I'm not mistaken so maybe this is some kind of accessible lead single. Anyways the harsh vox seem to have improved from TPW

its nothing compared to Beneath Broken Earth. but its kinda cool. definitely lazy though I agree. have heard ep of 3 tracks. all kinda flashy/poppy for them. still kinda cool. but hoping for realer material from the album.

idk man, the melodies and the faster rnr pace of Blood and Chaos remind me a bit of Draconian Times. The Longest Winter grew on me too. but yea, there are better songs on the album.

Blood & chaos is a great song to me it's almost as infectious as Beneath broken earth and I'm generally not a fan of the return to more death type vocals since the last album.

Damn, this has such a strong Type O Negative feel to it. I can almost hear Peter (RIP) singing it. I like this song much more than a lot of what Paradise Lost have been doing the last decade or so.
