Death From Above 1979 have returned with their first single since their 2014 album The Physical World.

The single "Freeze Me" comes with news that the band have dropped '1979' from their name, and will now go by Death From Above.

ehh it seems like they're really losing their punk edge and going for a more radio-friendly sound and i don't think that's gonna work out too well in the end

Last album was a grower, but this is certainly pushing the commercial aspect of the band; can't say I'm massive on the track, but it's not bad.
