They stripped away everything that made them unique and replaced it with higher pitched Breaking Benjamin choruses. Also you may want to add that they moved the release date from winter to May 3rd so it doesn't get a second article later.

higher pitched Breaking Benjamin choruses- yeah I could definitely catch the breaking benjamin chorus comparison, I don't particularly mind the approach here but it's fairly generic and they've been on a streak of identity crisis which is a shame because in creatures the overall atmosphere was interesting. Those unique aspects they had have sort of been absent on their past two albums and apparently will be missing on this one as well based on 570 and this track.

Creatures is their worst album.
Song is good. This will probably be their best record as they've gotten better each time.

Creatures is their worst album. Definitely have to disagree there, that's probably their most consistent effort, but I don't necessarily dislike this or the past two albums. I do find the chorus enjoyable on this but of Chris's clean vocals I preferred his cleans on Creatures. Here it's almost a replica of Benjamin Burnley's vocals.

Yikes, Chris still sounds like he has no idea who he wants to be.
On songs like sinematic you can actually hear the "real" Chris, but he insists on sounding like anyone but himself.

If you think "sinematic" is him sounding like himself, then you've never heard Marylin Manson.

It sounds so much like breaking Benjamin MIW should have to pay royalties . Also creature is the only tolerable record they have ever recorded everything else has been complete garbage IMO .

I've always hate his cleans, but this is dire. Music behind it is bad as well, can't see myself checking this out when it drops.

Haven't listened to these guys since Creatures. What the fuck happened. This isn't terrible, but it's generic as hell.

The last song at least had some energy. This is weak.

yes because breaking benjamin style hooks are better than songs like immaculate misconception and abigail lmao

song sucks, no surprise there. creatures will continue to be the only good album

I love those two songs, not a fan of the rest of Creatures besides Puppets and T/T though. Infamous is also just OK for me and Reincarnate, the album that actually got me listening to these guys, is where they really hit their stride.

Funny story. I was playing Halo Reach and this dude's 4 character tag was "Balz" and I messaged him, asking if he was from Motionless In White. And it was him. So the former keyboard player of this band likes to play an old xbox game on the weekends. As do I.

Awful band. They've always been as generic as this song, as far as I'm concerned.

I have no problem with the Breaking Benjamin-esque choruses whatsoever.
