Melbourne, Australia legends The Smith Street Band, have released a brand new track from their forthcoming, as-of-yet untitled, LP which is slated for release in early 2017.

The song is called 'Death to the Lads' and its accompanying music video is notable for featuring star turns from each of the band members' mothers.

Hell yes. Sounds more like no one gets lost anymore and less like their last album (which is a very good thing)

I'm actually a bit surprised by the overwhelmingly positive response to this. I'm a huge Smith Street Band fan boy and this is just a standard song by them to me.

Perth wishes it was as good as Melbourne.

Anyway, imo Smith Street can't write a bad song, but this is particularly excellent, even by their high standards.
